The parliamentary show with the investigation of concessions in health has continued today. Yesterday there were 9 hours of debates and accusations, but Ilir Beqaj managed not to testify about the affairs when he was a minister.
The meeting was postponed for today, but since the morning the same situation continues. The majority seems to have gone with the script to make propaganda and this has brought tensions.
Yesterday, Beqaj requested that before the questions start, he would make a presentation with photos and videos. But this was considered excessive by the mayor Albana Vokshi, who refused. SP requests that the request be put to a vote, since they have the majority and with the strength of the card they can accept.
However, both yesterday and today, Vokshi does not accept voting and the meeting continues and drags on. The whole thing is a scenario, as the commission's deadlines expire tomorrow and the SP, in this way, does not allow Beqaj to testify. But the call of Edi Rama or Vilma Nushi is also blocked.
Meanwhile, the meeting is currently suspended. A video has appeared in the media showing that the debates continue.
"Call Mr. Beqaj to continue with the testimony. It is a procedural request within the agenda. It's been 30 hours already. If you have a procedural request, vote. The Parliament of Albania functions by vote. My request is to do the task.
The last request, call Mr. Beqaj to speak", addressed Plarent Ndreca, the vice-chairman of the Commission, services of the Assembly.
On the other hand, the democratic MP Albana Vokshi says "the guard should not dare to allow anyone to enter the Commission hall".
Another moment of tension is that of Socialist MP Petro Koçi, who, addressing Petri Vasili, says "don't you dare talk to me", while Vasili replies "I haven't even spoken to you".
