The Chairman of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, during a statement to the media outside the Parliament, stated that the murder in the courtroom of Judge Astrit Kalaja is a terrible act that strikes at the foundations of the Albanian state.
He also said that property is the main problem of Albanians. He further added that the right to property has been taken away from citizens due to Law 7501. Finally, he called on citizens to insist on their properties.
"This is the seventh session that the Parliament has convened and the right to speak has been denied to the deputies. It happened again and today they found a pretext to close the session and deny the right to speak to deputies elected by Albanian citizens."
What happened yesterday, the murder of the judge in the courtroom, is a terrible act that strikes at the foundations of the Albanian state. But we cannot forget that there is a major problem that concerns almost every Albanian citizen, which is property, the property problem.
And while only one aspect is being discussed, the main problem is not being discussed. It is normal because the property problems, the denial of the 35-year-old right to property, originate precisely from this parliament.
The majority of the deputies who sit in the Albanian Parliament do not have problems with property, they have resolved their property problems. No one has come after them.
Unlike what has happened to almost every Albanian citizen, who has been denied the right to property and they have not been denied the right to property due to disability, but intentionally, starting from the infamous law of 7501 to the laws that are currently being enacted, such as the latest laws, the law on strategic investments, the famous law supposedly the mountains package, which is nothing more than a way to seize property from citizens and their legitimate owners.
This is happening and we need to talk about the problems of Albanian citizens who are entitled to property rights.
Despite this injustice, I invite everyone not to give up, the right to property is a right that cannot be denied. To continue to persevere despite the difficulties, despite the injustices.
And we will work on this in Parliament. And Parliament must do this, provide solutions, it is never too late for solutions.
Enough with the lies that it won't be solved, it won't be solved. They say they want to continue stealing, stealing like they did with the law on strategic investments and the law on the mountains package.
Imagine, a few days ago they handed over the Port of Pashaliman to an investor, they handed it over with Edi Rama's signature.
"Does that land not have owners? Has that land never had owners? There is, but they have not given it to him because they have used it as plunder, they have done the same thing throughout the Albanian coast. They are doing the same thing and want to do it in the mountainous areas as well," said Shehaj.
