Today, the change of the leadership of the DP parliamentary group in the Assembly was accompanied by fierce debates in the Assembly.
It was the speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, who declared that the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, addressed a letter to the Assembly announcing the changes in the representation of the DP parliamentary group.
Basha has delegated the competence of the head of the parliamentary group to deputy Flutura Açka.
"There is an announcement about the change of the chairmanship of the DP parliamentary group. At the proposal of the Party chairman, the composition of the presidency of the PD parliamentary group was decided by Flutura Açka, the deputy chairman authorized to represent the parliamentary group in the absence of the chairman of the group, Kreshnik Çollaku, vice chairman, Arbi Agalliu, secretary, Oriola Pampuri, spokeswoman, said the speaker of parliament, Lindita Nicholas.
The recognition of Lulzim Basha's decision made Gazmend Bardhi clash with the Speaker of the Parliament Nikolla, telling her that she was violating the regulation, since the parliamentary group takes the decisions about the representation in the parliament.
Due to Bardhi's harsh tones, the Speaker of the Assembly asked him to keep calm, as otherwise he could be kicked out.
"Don't hit the table because it will kick you out! I told you, and I am repeating it again very calmly, I thought that the letter you had sent was for me personally, not to inform the Assembly. It was a letter that impacted the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party. You are confused and you are creating an unprecedented situation for the public", said Nikolla.
