Albin Kurti makes a strong statement: The conflict between Albania and Belgrade

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has spoken about Albanian-Serbian relations throughout history and how they affect today.

In a part of the "Public Square" podcast, Kurti said that the conflict consists of the Albanians with the Serbian state and not with the people, calling Belgrade the center of a "little imperialism", writes "Express".

"The main conflict of the 20th century is between the Albanian nation and Serbia as a state. Not between Albanians and Serbs. The national difference has not produced conflicts, but Belgrade has been the center of a small imperialism because in the world there are not only big imperialisms, but also small imperialisms, which are too big for the neighbors.

And Belgrade was such an imperialist center when it took the flame of Moscow's favorite regime in this part of Europe from Bulgaria. Initially, Bulgaria was Moscow's favorite, and this flamboyant leader of who will be the leading state in the Balkans was kidnapped by Serbia from Bulgaria, and we have all these problems since the League of Prizren and that appear among politicians because only asked what they say about the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and from these differences you can very easily find the cause, not only the correlation with the differences we then have with each other" , said Kurti.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo also said that the conflict between Albanians as a nation and the state of Serbia is not over yet.

"So, in a way, the conflict between the Albanian nation and Belgrade is not over yet. The differences we have with each other in relation to this conflict, in relation to Serbia, have also turned into internal obstacles",  he said.
