The singer from Gjilan, Eroll Murati, has returned to the headlines of the Kosovar media. He is accused of defrauding dozens of immigrants by promising them false passports in exchange for thousands of euros.
Murat was seen by journalists who tried to communicate with him, but the latter left without giving any explanation. He was performing in one of the bars and after finishing his work, he left without giving any answer to the two journalists, even speeding away with his vehicle, he tried to hit the film crew.
He is accused of defrauding immigrants by promising them Slovenian passports. In some of his confessions, the singer from Gjilan claimed that he provided passports, mostly from the Slovenian state, to various people, mostly Kosovars, who worked there illegally.
His clients, who were mostly in need, communicated more through social networks, such as Whats App. He would take thousands of euros from them and disappear without giving them the promised passport.
