The suspect in the triple murder in Gjilan, Mefail Shkodra, along with his two sons, Engjull and Edonis Shkodra, has a criminal past, the Kosovo Police and Prosecution have announced.
At a press conference, details were revealed about Shkodra's criminal past, which has a series of criminal precedents.
"The suspect who committed the murders has a multitude of criminal records. There are cases of assault, disorderly conduct, usury, fraud, threats, blackmail, coercion. Participation or organization of a criminal group," the Prosecutor said.
Gjilan was severely shaken today by a triple crime that occurred at noon. As a result of gunfire, three people were killed.
The main suspect in this serious crime is Mefail Shkodra, a dangerous loan shark with a serious criminal past. His name was known to the authorities, but he was still at large.
His two sons, Engjëll Shkodra and Edison Shkora, are also being sought along with him.
The prosecutor announced at a press conference that they have already requested international cooperation for their capture and that they have notified all border crossings.
"The suspect who committed the criminal offense has a criminal record. There are cases of assault, disorderly conduct, usury, fraud, threats, blackmail, coercion. Participation or organization of a criminal group," said the Prosecutor who is investigating the triple murder.
