The head of the so-called Association of Citizens of the District of Mitrovica, Rasha Rojevic, has announced that tomorrow, Friday, September 6, the multi-day blockade of the administrative crossings towards Kosovo and Metohija will begin.
Rojevic told Beta agency that the blockade will be organized by local associations of citizens from Kosovo and Metohija and that four out of five administrative crossings from the direction of central Serbia and Montenegro will be blocked.
" The blockade will start tomorrow at 18:00 and will last until the Kosovo police forces withdraw from the north of Kosovo and return the occupied institutions to the Serbs. We also demand that KFOR, in accordance with the mandate of Resolution 1244, take control in the north of Kosovo.
We will block the Brnjak, Jarinje and Merdare crossings from the Central Serbia side and the Kulu crossing on the Pejë-Rozhaje road from the Montenegro side. Konçul administrative crossing will not be blocked at the moment. We will only allow hospital vehicles, as well as all other vehicles and passengers with Serbian documents" , said Rojevic, who added that at each crossing, at least 400 people will participate in the blockade.
