The singer, much loved by the public, has held the "throne" for years as one of the most popular voices, receiving accolades in Albanian competitions and beyond. But the singer's life changed completely when she married the English diplomat Paul Edward Conolly.
It was love that took Anjeza away from our country, moving to England, away from fame and away from her commitments in music. In her new life, as a wife, but also as Victoria's mother, she preferred to stay away from social networks. In 2019, the couple became parents of a daughter, whom they named Victoria. Anjeza Shahini shared the news about Victoria's birth with her many followers on social networks.
The singer shared many moments from her private life. But suddenly Anjeza took a break from social networks for about 3 years, where she returned only a little while ago. But what stands out about this return is some big changes not only in her "look", but also in her private life. The marriage with the diplomat Paul Edward Conolly and the birth of the daughter moved Anjeza's life to another plane, that of mother. Thus, changes in the personal plan took the place of the professional one.
Some time ago, she, through a post on "Instagram", sharing a video from her last appearance on an Albanian stage, expressed that she was happy that she had closed the festival competitions with songs and full of energy and colors. Immediately after this post, it was hinted that the singer would eventually leave music and singing.
Anjeza denied this, saying: "Hey, my love, as often as I post something, I have to follow it up with an explanatory post. In my previous post I wrote that I am done with festivals. I didn't think it was a surprise as it seems natural for an artist to go through different stages of their artistic development. I will certainly continue to sing. May God bless us...".
