The spark came from a mysterious Instagram post by Vin Diesel, star of the legendary Fast & Furious saga. The actor published a photo in the company of Cristiano Ronaldo, accompanied by a caption that immediately set the network ablaze:
"Everyone was asking me if he could fit into the Fast & Furious mythology... I have to say he's a real character. We wrote a role for him..."
Enough words to push fans' imaginations to the limit.
From football to Hollywood
According to these signals, Ronaldo could appear in the next film of the Fast & Furious saga, one of the most profitable franchises in the history of cinema. It is still unknown whether CR7 will play himself, or will try a real role as an actor, but the idea of him in a Hollywood blockbuster no longer seems like a fantasy.
After all, Ronaldo's connection to the world of cars is well-known: his luxurious collection of supercars and passion for speed make him a perfect figure for the Fast & Furious universe.
Provocation or serious warning?

For now, Hollywood can wait. Ronaldo, now 40, still has one big sporting goal ahead of him: trying to win the World Cup, the one major trophy missing from his legendary showcase. If he succeeds, it would be the icing on an already very sweet cake.
