Cardi B has fallen victim to a credit card fraud scheme. Thieves used her card to spend around $60,000 at luxury stores and Apple before her bank blocked it.
The artist made the announcement to her followers during an Instagram live video, revealing that her card had been lost two weeks ago. According to her, $40,000 was spent on luxury clothes and $20,000 on Apple products.
"Let me tell you, you're going to jail by the end of the week," Cardi B said, adding that she had secured security camera footage of four men using her card.
The rapper stressed that she is usually very careful with finances and does not tolerate such losses. She warned that she will seek compensation and dismissed this episode as an attack on her financial stability.
We recall that in 2024, Cardi B declared that her net worth was over $88 million, always emphasizing that she does not spend thoughtlessly and does not leave any dollars outside her control.
"I'm not like some rich people," she said in the live video. "Not a single dollar can be spent without my knowledge. I don't play around when it comes to my bread."
