Richard Mineards, a man who lives near the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, told the Daily Mail, “'I personally don't think Meghan is an asset to our community. She doesn't really go out or get involved in the community."
However, Mineards said he has slightly different feelings about Markle's husband Prince Harry, whom he describes as "quite positive".
Page Six has reached out to representatives for the Sussexes for comment, but has not heard back.
This isn't the first time the royal couple has upset one of their California neighbors.
In July 2023, Frank McGinity, an 88-year-old US Navy veteran, claimed he was snubbed when he tried to give Markle and Harry some films he made about the area's history.
"I have a big house next to Harry and Meghan's property and I live in a guest house while I rent out the main house on Airbnb," he explained in his memoir, Get Off Your Street.
"Harry and Meghan live on the old McCormick estate and I went to their gate with the films on a CD but they weren't interested."
We recall that the Sussex family moved to California in 2020 after leaving their royal duties.
