This year, Albania, represented at Eurovision by Besa with "Titan", failed to make it to the final night. Despite high expectations, Besa's commitment to deliver a dignified performance and attention to detail, the happy news did not come.
It seems that Rona Nishliu's last post indirectly refers to this. Besa's participation was the exact opposite of Rona's.
The artist had with her a team that took care of her appearance as well as a group of assistants who stood by her for everything.
With a photo posted from the Eurovision carpet in Baku, Azerbaijan by her representation, Rona writes:
"Memories from the Eurovision Song Contest red carpet, representing Albania in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The smallest group in Albania, without an artistic team, without a make-up artist and hairdresser, without an assistant, without PR, without a 'creator' of social networks.
But we had a lot of love from ESC, the ESC technical support team, the amazing team on and behind the stage, the fantastic journalists who stuck with me for hundreds of interviews and most importantly, the love of Eurovision fans and blogs who liked, shared and even they changed the title of my song from "Suus" to "Qaaaaaajjjj". Much love to all!"
