Hip-hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing serious allegations from his ex-partner Cassie.
The singer claims that Diddy raped her while they were together, physically beat her and for a period of time controlled every aspect of her life, completely isolating her.
According to the lawsuit, she faced "a cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking" until their relationship ended in 2018.
The lawsuit alleges that Diddy began pursuing Cassie at the age of 19 when she signed a contract with his company. The singer claims that at her 21st birthday party, Diddy had forcefully kissed her, thus continuing to exercise his power over her.
Being the founder of Bad Boy Records, Cassie at the time felt that she could not refuse his requests or offers for drugs without risking her career.
In addition to raping her, forcing her to keep his guns in her purse, Diddy also forced Cassie to have sex with other male sex workers while he filmed them. She was given drugs before and during sexual acts.
The singer began a brief relationship with Kid Cudi in 2012, but Diddy allegedly blew up his car. This event was also confirmed by Kid Cudi himself.
According to the lawsuit, after a dinner where they were supposed to discuss the matter, Diddy forced his way into Cassie's home and raped her. She moved out of the house he had bought for her, returned the car, and finally broke up.
For the benefit of all women facing abuse and violence in relationships, Cassie said she had to pull herself together and work up the courage to speak out for the first time.
"Mrs. Ventura seeks justice for the decade of her life that Mr. "Combs took her away with threats of violence, excessive drug use, physical and psychological abuse, and sexual slavery," the lawsuit states.
The singer is seeking damages for lost money, mental anguish and severe emotional distress.
However, Diddy has denied the accusations, stating that they were offensive and scandalous, and came after Cassie demanded 30 million dollars from him. On the other hand, Cassie's lawyer revealed that Diddy offered her an eight-figure sum to shut up, but the singer refused.
