It seems that among the comedians of the Albanian stage, there has been a rivalry over who will take the opposition seat opposite Manastirliu. A "humorous war" within the profession to try to touch the post of mayor of Tirana.
The comedian Julian Deda has exploded against the DP in a revolt after Berisha's decision to run his colleague, the comedian, Florjan Binaj, as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.
"Breaking the taboo in the DP, which has decided to support a comedian in the race for the municipality of Tirana. Today, something that two years ago (in the 2023 primaries) was terrible to happen, namely the candidacy of a comedian for mayor, is becoming a fact.
I remember, when I ran in the primaries, a senior, adult and ignorant official there told me: 'we will not go to the municipality for a gala'. While today, this mentality has changed, great progress, compliments to the DP", Deda writes ironically on social networks.
He adds that he hopes that "the support from the DP and the opposition is real and not 'my aunt made me speak my mind', so that another good figure does not end up burned, like many others".
