Fans were left disappointed at the Wireless Festival in London after the singer who gathered over 50,000 spectators there, Drake, unexpectedly ended his performance after just 40 minutes.
According to the official schedule, the rapper was expected to have two performances: one at 6:25 PM and then at 8:55 PM, but the first set was canceled without explanation during the day.
In the next set, Drake took the stage 10 minutes early and warned fans that he would perform until they cut off his microphone, referring to the music curfew at 9:30 PM, according to new rules imposed by local authorities to maintain public order.
Unlike expectations and other times where Drake has brought up to 13 surprise artists, in this performance he brought only three special guests: Popcaan, Rema and Vybz Kartel.
In particular, Central Cee, with whom the rapper launched a new song during the performance, was not part of the event at all, but was only heard through the recording, leaving room for speculation about the reasons for his absence.
Drake tried to restore the energy of the fans by performing some of his biggest hits like "Controlla," "Find Your Love" and "One Dance," which had been remixed for 2025.
However, they failed to elicit the expected reactions, as many fans found it difficult to sing the altered versions.
