Britney Spears seems to be determined not to return to the music industry.
Despite her team contacting a number of writers for what is claimed to be her tenth album, the famous singer has hit back saying she will 'never return to the music industry'.
"To be clear, most of the news is fake! They say I'm going to some people to make a new album...I'm never coming back to the music industry!", Spears wrote in a post on "Instagram".
The singer continued: "When I write, I write for fun or for other people. For those who have to read my book, there's a lot you don't know about me," adding that before recording songs, she wrote over 20 songs for other people over the past two years.
Spears has also spoken about online speculation that her book "The Woman in Me", published on October 24, 2023, was published without the singer's permission. "People say that my book was published without my approval, illegally, and that is far from the truth. Have you read the news these days?”, adding that they love her and she is blessed.
Her statement comes after a source told Rolling Stone that Britney's management team is reaching out to artists and is very enthusiastic about the new music they are about to release.
