An unexpected moment occurred during the filming of "Devil Wears Prada 2" at the Museum of Natural History in New York, where iconic actress Meryl Streep, 76, slipped and fell while wearing a bright red dress and giant heels.
Streep, who reprises her role as Miranda Priestly, reacted with a smile as her co-star Stanley Tucci helped her up. The incident occurred during a scene inspired by the Met Gala.
According to the film crew, the actress had tried on more comfortable shoes, but for filming she chose the original costume heels. "Well, Miranda never falls without style," she said humorously after the fall.
The film, which is set to hit theaters in May 2026, reunites Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt in a new story where Miranda confronts her former assistant in a war within the fashion industry. Directed by David Frankel, the cast also includes actress Simone Ashley.
