Mariah Carey has once again surprised fans as she has reconfirmed that she does not 'recognize' her music rival, Jennifer Lopez.
The 56-year-old was a guest on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" show on Wednesday when she was asked about her famous comment, which many found suspicious.
It was 2003 when the superstar was asked what she thought of the famous singer and smiling, Mariah simply replied:
"I don't know him."
And on Wednesday, she gave the same response when Cohen told her:
"Can you believe how much the word 'I don't know' has become part of the lexicon?"
"The thing is, I was being honest when I said it, so I don't know how it became so widespread," said the famous singer.
"To clarify, you still don't know him, do you?" Andy Cohen then asked.
"How can I suddenly recognize him... like, you know?" Mariah replied, smiling.
Meanwhile, Cary's once again dubious response to Jennifer Lopez was widely commented on on social media.
"How could she suddenly recognize him, oh my God," wrote one fan.
"Maybe the best answer is... I know her. But Mariah knows she's just being mean and it's so funny!" someone else wrote.
"'I don't know him; forever ICONIC!!!', continues another commenter.
