New details have emerged from the lawsuit against Priscilla Presley, who is accused of hiding over $25 million worth of Elvis Presley jewelry and rare memorabilia to avoid paying taxes.
According to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, allege that the 80-year-old violated contracts, committed fraud and attempted to take control of the Presley family foundation and assets, including the iconic Graceland estate.
The lawsuit seeks damages of at least $50 million, while accusing Priscilla of intentionally excluding her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, from the inheritance of Elvis' estate.
Some of the documents also include serious allegations about the tragic moment in January 2023, when Lisa Marie suffered a cardiac arrest. According to the lawsuit, Priscilla requested that the life support machines be turned off just hours after she was hospitalized, something that has sparked strong public reactions.
The charges also include concealing a luxury jewelry collection, which is believed to have been stored in a secret location and not declared on tax documents. On forms filed in May 2023, Presley reportedly declared only $6,000 in jewelry, far less than the true value, which amounts to 21.6 million euros.
On the other hand, Priscilla Presley's lawyer, Marty Singer, has denied all the allegations, describing them as "absurd and malicious."
"This is an attempt to tarnish the reputation of an 80-year-old woman," he declared, noting that the plaintiffs are themselves under investigation for embezzlement and fraud against his client.
