The legal representatives of Cristiano Ronaldo and Catherine Majorga will face each other again in court, in view of the case against the Portuguese footballer. The American's lawyers seek to cancel the closing of the case filed against CR7 in 2022 and, in this way, reopen the civil suit that began in 2018.
The essence of the case revolves around the alleged payment of 357,000 euros, which the Portuguese star allegedly made to Ketrin Majorga as a bribe to keep quiet, after the allegations of rape.
We recall that the former American model requested damages of around 64.4 million euros in 2021, citing the "pain and suffering" she had experienced from the five-time "Golden Ball" winner.
This request by Ketrin Majorga came after a secret out-of-court settlement was allegedly signed. She says she was raped in a hotel by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, in Las Vegas. An accusation that the football star has always denied.
A year later, in 2010, the former model signed an out-of-court confidentiality agreement worth 324,000 euros with CR7, but years later she changed her mind and decided to take the footballer to court, claiming that when she signed the agreement in question, she did not it was good psychologically.
According to Majorga, the Portuguese player had entered his bathroom with his genitals exposed, trying to force him to have sex with him. He also begged her to touch his penis for 30 seconds. An act she rejected. Ronaldo is reported to have asked the mysterious brunette to give him oral sex, but this request was also rejected by her.
The Portuguese asked her for a kiss to let him go, she accepted and the moment got out of control: "He grabbed me with a lot of force and did work without my approval."
According to the American, Ronaldo had removed his underwear, counting on the rejection of the "victim": "I reacted and shouted no, no, no!" According to the report, the footballer grabbed her vagina and threw himself on her back, practicing unprotected anal sex for 5 to 7 minutes, even without lubricant.
CR7 has always said that sex was consensual. He declared that rape is "a despicable crime" and presented about 60 witnesses to testify in his favor.
On July 23, 2019, a North American court acquitted Cristiano Ronaldo of rape charges. The Clark County District Attorney's Office in the state of Nevada concluded that the allegations of sex crimes, filed by 34-year-old Katherine Majorga, cannot be substantiated.
