Kate Middleton has an ever-present nanny in her children's lives, and one of them was Maria Borralo, who worked for the royal family for years. After completing her training at the prestigious Norland College in Bath, she was instructed never to utter a word in front of the royal children.
Louise Herren, who trained Maria to be a nanny for the royal family, revealed in an interview with the Mirror that nannies in Norland are taught not to say the word "baby" but to address the youngest members of the royal family by name.
Norland College is an institution of higher education dedicated to teaching nannies how to properly care for children. Over 10,000 nannies have been trained at this institution since the institution was founded in 1892. Here, nannies are trained to work in prestigious families, from Arab royalty to Hollywood stars.
Nannies also have different rules, some of which are that children should go to bed around 7pm, play outside in the rain and shine, and introduce new foods and tastes all the time.
