The comedian Osman Azemi has apologized for the statement made by him a few days ago, that the Albanians of Albania are jealous of those of Kosovo. Azemi said that he made the statement with humor, while he apologized for the entire situation.
"I probably didn't express myself well and it makes me feel bad. Yes, they have to be very careful about what I'm talking about because the damage is done. My statements are misinterpreted. My goal was to talk about sport, it is understood that sport excites us, during the interview it is also a mistake that I am behind some kind of satire. I have fun with satire, a bit of humor, but it got to extraordinary proportions, which I feel bad about," said the actor.
Then he continued:
"I didn't have fun without Albanians from Kosovo or Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and I was divided among myself. I sincerely feel bad for the citizens in Albania, whether left or right and in the government or the opposition, for my friends and family that I have put them in a rather embarrassing situation. I also apologize to my colleagues if they felt embarrassed, but I have said it now, the damage is done", said Azemi.
