"House rents are very expensive", when Cardi B also 'cries'!

Famous American rapper Cardi B has spoken out openly in an Instagram live broadcast, expressing her anger over rising rent prices in New York, especially in the Bronx, the neighborhood where she grew up.

In her video, Cardi shared that she was trying to help a friend find an apartment, but was shocked by the numbers she saw online.
"I went on StreetEasy to look at apartments in the Bronx and I was shocked! How can rents be so high in the cheapest neighborhood in New York?!" she said with a wry tone.

The rapper then apologized to fans, saying she felt bad for asking them to buy her latest album "Am I the Drama?" during such an economic time.

"I don't know how people are surviving. I'm so sorry I asked you to buy my album when the economy is so tough and rents are crazy, even in the Bronx. I'm truly sorry," she said.

Cardi didn't leave out mentioning President Trump's current administration, criticizing him for the way he is handling the cost of living crisis in the US.

"I know that if you say something to the Trump administration about high prices, they'll say, 'Well, bear with it.' What bothers me the most is that there are so many people who work every day, students and single parents, and because they work, they don't get any help from the government. That's always bothered me," the rapper added.

During the same broadcast, Cardi B also talked about her song "Pretty & Petty," which is a diss to rapper BIA, saying that she had considered posting a video on Instagram about it, but decided against it because she didn't want to seem like a "bully."

"Rents are too high, the economy is crazy and people are barely making ends meet - that's the reality," she concluded.
