The news of moderator Alketa Vejsiu appearing on the cover of "FORBES England" was covered by all Albanian media and by herself as well.
Normally, it would be good and joyful news when an Albanian manages to be on the front page of a prestigious magazine. But it seems the site is a scam.
Technology expert Besmir Semanaj explains:
"We hope that Alketa did not pay a lot of money for the publication of such news. Why the site is a scam: The site was registered on 14.05.2023 (so it seems that we are dealing with a site that is several months old). The registration address and contacts are in India (+91.8368645871, [email protected]) and not in the name of Forbes Company.
The website has very little traffic and almost no visitors. The site in question has no social networks, while it is known that Forbes has verified all social networks.
The reason for this article is not Ms. Alketa in itself, because I respect her as a character and a successful woman, but it is for all artists, businessmen, politicians and citizens to be careful with online scams" - says the expert.
