Chinese player Jiaxuan Guo has died. He did not survive a serious head injury suffered after a tragic accident during a training match in Spain on February 6.

" FC Bayern is mourning the passing of Guo Jiaxuan, a former world team player, who has died at the age of 18 in his native China. He suffered the consequences of a serious head injury following a tragic accident during a training match in Spain on February 6. The club's thoughts are with his family and friends. The centre-back was part of FC Bayern's 2023 World Team, which gives talented players from around the world the opportunity to showcase their talents in professional football. Jiaxuan also represented China at youth level ," the Bavarian club said in a statement.
