England are aiming to finish first in the World Cup qualifiers, with Albania in the same group. Jordan Pickford, the goalkeeper of the "Three Lions", spoke to the media at the team's training camp, where he focused on the objectives.
" We're getting ready for the World Cup and to be on that plane to the World Cup. We have to qualify first, but he wants the standards set earlier. This is the first camp of his managerial era and he wants high standards set from day one. He was very happy with how we were yesterday and he wants us to continue on that path until the World Cup.
"We know we have a group to qualify and we want to come out on top. That's our main objective and then to be on a plane to go to the US next summer. He wants us to be at our best to go to the US next summer ," Pickford said.
