The famous former striker of Skenderbeu and Kukes in our championship, Pero Pejić declared that he sees Albania as the least favorite in today's challenge against Croatia, as the Croatians have more experience in the final stages of the European Championship.
However, the 41-year-old Croatian adds that football always causes surprises and everything remains to be seen today, at 15:00.
"The Italy-Albania match could have ended 2-2, after the incident in the last minutes of Manaj. This shows that Albania is a serious team. There is a group of young players, who play in Italy or Germany, so Croatia must be 100% to win," Pejić emphasized on A2 CNN.
The Albanian representative will play the second match of the group in the finals of the European Championship, "Germany 2024", the one against Croatia, in Hamburg.
At the press conference before the match, the Brazilian coach Sylvinho came out together with the captain Berat Gjimshit, to tell more about the preparations.
"Things in Europe and at this level are definitely very difficult, but definitely also beautiful, and we are very happy to participate. We have to learn from these opponents, the meetings are only 90 minutes long and there is no chance of life, in football everything happens and we will do the best we can", said Sylvinho, the coach of the National Team.
