Anyone who believes that the Albanian Football Association's decision to no longer offer group tickets to fans, especially the main group, "Red and Black Fans", is naive.
The Federation simply found the moment to "revenge" after a "nuisance" campaign by TKZ for the European Championship that Albania will organize with Serbia.
TKZ and "Illyrian Elite" were among those who opposed the organization of the U-21 European Championship with Serbia, at a time when the mainstream media, ministries, but also the Kosovar side remained silent.
But this is not the only reason why Armand Duka decided to make the decision to not allow TKZ to buy tickets in groups. VNA brings you a detailed analysis of what is going on behind the scenes...
1- Armand Duka has tried to coexist with the Red and Black Fans, but there has never been any "chemistry" with this group. The messages in 2016 were famous when he called them "Legena" in an e-mail he sent to one of his subordinates.
2- Their noisy dispute over the organization of the U-21 championship with Serbia was the final straw. Duka made sure that in Albania the issue was treated as gently as possible by the major media and in fact he succeeded. Unaware of the reaction it would cause, but tempted by the millions that this activity brings, the FSHF made sure that even in its press release, it did not write anywhere who it was holding the championship with. The situation was funny, but it showed how embarrassed Duka was. The fan groups were the only ones who did not remain silent and he did not forget it.
3- The fans even threatened to escalate the reaction to send a message to Duka in the match with Serbia in June. So on the one hand, they disturbed his calm when he decided to cooperate with Serbia, and on the other hand, they could cause him headaches in a very delicate but also important match for the qualifiers. Not to mention that if Rama wins the elections and an incident occurs, the embarrassment will be even greater...
4- He exploited the divisions among the TKZ. Before this qualifying campaign began, several scenes of fights in the TKZ stands went viral and Duka tried to take advantage of the clashes between them.
5- In the corridors of the FSHF, it was often whispered that "national team tickets are a business". Of course, for a long time, groups have been buying tickets at the same price, the FSHF simply "honored" them by giving them a "package" of tickets so that only they were in that stand. But since interest in the national team has increased and interest in the Qoka has also increased, the FSHF thought: "If it's a business, then we do it ourselves, why leave it to the fans". Let's face it, in some matches the tickets go for three times the real value.
6- And since we are in business, have you seen how tickets for big matches evaporate, even within an hour? But if you go to different tourist agencies, you can find them there, but at a much higher price. The calculation is simple: we do the agencies honor, we have no objections, we get rid of some disobedient people who become dangerous when they are together and we set an example that whoever goes against us will suffer. So we kill four birds with one stone. Or five better… Why 5? Because that way we guarantee that in the match with Serbia in June we will not have incidents. Or at least that is what the FSHF hopes, because TKZ has shown that it does not bow its head easily in front of the Federation.
