He doesn't think anything like that at all. A Serbian coach, who knows Albania well, has commented on the June 7 match, and this is the former Partizan bench man, Aleksandër Veselinović.
In an interview with the Belgrade media outlet "Alo", he refutes the rumor that hell awaits the Serbian national team in Tirana.
The 55-year-old technician believes that the measures taken in the Albanian capital will do their job.
" No! They will do everything to ensure that the match is organized as properly as possible. Their President Duka is in excellent relations with UEFA, he is side by side with President Ceferin. When he talks to President Infantino, they are like brothers. Together with Albania, we will organize the European Youth Championship. They have no interest in anything happening that will tarnish them. Even UEFA itself does not think that anything bad will happen ."
Of course, Veselinovic is asked what the level of the Albanian national team is, which will play against Serbia.
" It is a national team that defends strongly, is united and makes sacrifices. Assistant coach Zabaleta deals with this. The Albanians always play with maximum responsibility, while the biggest minus is that they lack creativity in attack. However, they hold on tight. It is incredible how many players trust the coach. The Brazilian has done a great job and has brought about change after several years with Italian coaches ."
Veselinovic praises the "National Arena" in Tirana as a modern and especially highly acoustic stadium, where the echo of the fans' cheers is strongly felt.
