The week has started with sad news. Former Dinamo basketball player and renowned sports journalist, Enea Andrea, has passed away prematurely.
Enea Andrea, 55, lost his life after a heart attack while training at the gym. About seven years ago, he had suffered a heart problem, but after treatment he had returned to good physical condition and continued his sports activity.
Andrea was a well-known name in Albanian basketball, where he represented the Dinamo team and the National Team for many years. After ending his playing career, he became a prominent figure in the media, as a specialist and commentator on NBA games, gaining public appreciation for his professionalism and passion for the sport.
Beyond his sports and media career, Enea Andrea was also the twin brother of the famous Albanian actress, Ema Andrea. His passing has shocked his family, friends, the sports community, and the public who knew and appreciated him over the years.
