The 5th "El Clasico" for the referee, who decides justice in the Barcelona-Real Madrid superduel

The Spanish Football Federation has appointed referee Alejandro Jose Hernandez Hernandez as the referee for Sunday's decisive "El Clasico" between Barcelona and Real Madrid at "Montjuic".

This will be the fifth "El Clasico" that Hernandez has officiated, with the Madrid team having drawn two, won one and lost one.

Without a doubt, this match will be Ancelotti's team's last chance to compete for the 2024-25 La Liga title. Los Blancos need the three points to stay alive in the race for the trophy, and then they will have to wait for Barcelona to drop points at least once more before the end of the season.
