Fortunately, the tradition of weightlifting remains "alive" in Albania, thanks to talents such as Ertjan Kofsha, who excelled in the U-23 European Weightlifting Championship taking place in Poland. Kofsha was declared European runner-up, not only that, but from this tournament he came away with 3 medals, 1 gold and 2 silver.
The red and black weightlifter also gave an excellent performance in the breakaway style, where he secured a silver medal with 192 kg.
In two competitions, with a total of 354 kg, Ertjan Kofsha ranked second and was declared European champion, unfortunately the gold medal escaped his hands by only 1 kg, but his performance, with a "triple" medals, gives hope for the future to bring red and black weightlifting back to high levels.
