Laura Fazliu has scored an extraordinary success, having managed to win the bronze medal at the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games.
The Kosovar judoka started the competition from the second round, as she did not fight at all in the first round because she was ranked higher.
Fazliu faced the Chinese Jing Tang whom he defeated after she got three shidos.
In the quarterfinals, Laura lost to the French judoka Clarisa Agbegnenu, who managed to secure the victory with Ippon.
In the repechage, Fazliu managed to triumph against the Canadian Katerina Bushemin-Pinard, whom she defeated after three mistakes.
The "Dardane" judoka in the final duel for the bronze medal faced the Croatian Katarina Kristo, whom she managed to defeat in the 'Golden Score' after three mistakes.
We remind you that this is the second Olympic medal for Kosovo, after the silver one won by Distria Krasniqi a few days ago.
