Alen Sherri seems to have chosen the right moment to make the big move of his career, as he was transferred a few days ago to Kaljari. The goalkeeper, who was declared champion with Egnatia, seems to have a real chance to fight for a place in the starting line-up of the Sardinian team.
This, for the reason that the starting goalkeeper of Kaljar, Simone Skufet, has ended up on the radars of Milan. The Reds want a reliable goalkeeper as an alternative to Mike Menjo after Marco Sportielo was injured in the friendly and will be out for at least two months. They have set their sights on Skufet and according to Italian media, the deal is very close to being finalized.
This creates a greater opportunity for Sherri to fight for a place in the starting line-up for Caljari, or at least have the opportunity to find minutes with the team he went to as Skufet's replacement. The club is reported to be thinking of bringing Marko Silvestri from Udinese, but the latter will not be untouchable in the Cagliari square.
