The gesture made by Jude Bellingham after the match between England and Slovakia could be a problem for Gareth Southgate.
It is learned that UEFA is waiting for a full report of what happened at the end of the meeting when the number ten of the "Three Lions" was filmed by the cameras, while making inappropriate gestures on the field.
Belingam himself clarified that with that gesture he was not addressing the Slovaks, who were depressed on the bench.
" For the Slovaks, I have nothing but respect for the game played. That gesture was dedicated to some of my friends who were in the stadium ," said Belingam.
The version given by the 21-year-old has not convinced UEFA, which has not yet taken a decision on his behavior. Belingam risks being suspended for the next match, the one against Switzerland in the quarter-finals, but the most likely in this case is to be punished with a hefty fine.
