A Jagiellonia fan left the stadium doubly happy today after his team's match with Dinamo. The Polish fan saw his team win and take a step towards the group stage of the Conference League tournament, while also leaving the match about 2,300 euros richer.
At half-time, the home team organized a show to entertain the fans, in which a sponsor had set a prize of 10,000 zlotys (about 2,350 euros). Several fans, selected by lottery based on their ticket number, were invited onto the pitch to participate in the game to win this prize.
They had to shoot from the edge of the area over the crossbar of one of the goals. One of them succeeded, causing the stadium to erupt in cheers, while the fan in question ran the length of the pitch in joy before receiving the check for his successful attempt.
