Taulant Xhaka was on the field in Belgrade in 2014, when the match with the Albanian national team against Serbia was cancelled. "I know myself how much pressure and emotions you have to endure in this type of match. I suggested to Granit to talk to coach Murat Yakin and maybe avoid this match, but we all know my brother, he wants to play every match with Switzerland.
It's not easy to keep yourself under control for 90 minutes when things get so emotional again. Granit should stay calm, play football, ignore the provocations. It's easy to say, but in the end it's all about a football game, which has to be won," Taulanti said.
The thinking is similar when you ask footballers in Switzerland.
"I expect a normal football game and I think that both sides have learned from the past", says the former teammate of the hellish national team, Admir Mehmedi.
