Striker Erling Haaland has equaled Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero's Champions League goalscoring record.
On Wednesday, Haaland scored a goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League, thus passing his team to the quarterfinals of this competition.
It was his 41st Champions League goal so far in the Champions League, and he has played just 37 times in the competition.
With that goal scored on Wednesday night, Haaland has already equaled Aguero's record in the Champions League. It took the Argentine forward 79 games to reach that amount of goals, 42 games more than Haaland. The 23-year-old Norwegian's goal tally is so staggering that only 18 players in Champions League history have scored more than him.
Erling Haaland has now scored as many career Champions League goals as Sergio Agüero (41).
