The coach of the Balkans, Ilir Daja, was hit in the head with a bottle during yesterday's match between the Balkans and Pristina.
The coach himself informed that at the time when the match was being played while he was on the bench, there were many insults towards him from the central stand. Then he was also hit on the head with a bottle. The club informs today that the blow came from the brother of an official of Pristina.
FC Balkani condemns this act of attack on the coach and calls on the competent bodies to investigate it to the end.
Reaction of the Balkan club:
The Balkan club was concerned about the scenes that happened last night at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium in the capital, in the match against Pristina.
Our coach, Ilir Daja, has been the target of constant verbal but also physical attacks by people who were not in the stadium for football, but with other non-sporting purposes.
At the end of the first half, the brother of an official of the local club threw a bottle at coach Daja. Not stopping there, and unfortunately in front of the security, he and several others continued to stand on the jetty where our team was, insulting and threatening our coach and technical staff.
FC Balkani is outraged by this event, therefore it asks the competent bodies both inside and outside the Federation to treat this situation seriously because football, which we are trying to send forward as much as possible, such things turn it back.
The great work of Fc Balkani, including coach Daja and our footballers, has benefited all Super League teams, in this case Pristina itself, so it is incomprehensible that such concessions are allowed.
