Juventus have not accepted the departure of Edon Zhegrova during this transfer window, despite concrete interest from Everton. According to what The Athletic reports, there was an informal dialogue between the two clubs for the Albanian winger, but the talks have not progressed as the Black and Whites were not ready to let the player go.
Zhegrova, who joined Juventus from Lille last summer, has yet to find his desired place in the squad, making just one start this season. However, Juve's management have not considered a move away, despite his limited playing time.
On the other hand, Juventus have also been rejected by Everton. The Italian club had requested the loan of striker Beto (Norberto Bercique Gomes Betuncal), but Everton were not open to losing the 28-year-old. Beto comes from a positive moment, after scoring the equalizer in extra time for David Moyes' team in the draw against Brighton & Hove Albion, registering his fourth goal of the season.
Currently, Beto is one of the few alternatives in Everton's offensive department, along with Thierno Barry, which has influenced the English club's decision not to let him leave.
