
North Macedonia has made a good start to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, winning its first match in Group J, which put it up against Liechtenstein on the road.
The team led by Blagoja Milevski won easily with a score of 3-0, taking three important points in a group that also includes Belgium, Wales and Kazakhstan.
Trajkovski gave North Macedonia the lead in the 7th minute, while Visar Musliu doubled the lead before the end of the first half. Miovski's late goal sealed the 3-0 victory for the Macedonians.
Meanwhile, Wales will face Kazakhstan tonight in Group J. Meanwhile, Belgium will not enter the scene until June, as they are currently involved in the Nations League.
