"Let's talk on the field", Lorik Cana speaks with complete certainty: The event of 2014 will not be repeated, the chapter is closed

Former national team player, Lorik Cana, expresses his confidence that the Belgrade horror will not be repeated. In an interview with Trevisa Tufa on "Sport News" on "News 24", the day before the match, Cana says that the chapter is closed, while emphasizing that it is time to show strength on the field.

" Are you afraid of riots? I don't believe it, what was supposed to happen, happened. It was the first time there was a confrontation. Despite the measures taken, there was no awareness then, especially on our side, of what awaited us there."

Serbs have a sporting tradition, we don't. However, sometimes sport has been used for politics, or to support regimes. It's a football match, there are 90 minutes to play.

The 2014 match? We have addressed it several times. It is not just about sport, we are professionals and we have to do our best, behaving well. Chapter closed, let's show who we are on the field "- said Cana before the Leskovac match.
