Sharl Leklerk has finally made his dream come true. The driver from Monaco has won the race on his "home road" at the Monte Carlo circuit for the first time in his career and has returned Ferrari to success at this Formula 1 circuit after a seven-year absence.
Leclerc had secured pole position for today's race and managed to hold on to first place without problems from start to finish in a race that had little excitement apart from the first lap collisions between Perez, Magnussen and Hulkenberg that took them out immediately out and brought out the red flag until the track was cleared.
Behind the wings of Leklerk there was a fight for the second place, with Piastri who defended him to the end from the attacks of Sainz who tried in every way to pass him, without success, thus remaining in the third place on the podium. The points area was then completed by Norris, Russell, Verstappen, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Albon and Gasli.
After this race, Max Vershtapen continues to remain detached in the championship lead with 169 points, followed by Leklerk with 138 points and Norris with 113.
