Luiza Gega continues to amaze in every competition she participates in, while the next success came today in the European Team Championship that is being held in Poland.

After winning 3 days ago in 5000 meters, today Gega took the second triumph in this event, being declared champion in 3000 meters with hurdles, which is also her favorite discipline, to give other valuable points to Albania.

Although she is the reigning champion of Europe and has a European record, Luiza competed in Division 3, as Albania belongs there. But this did not stop our champion from giving an outstanding performance. With the result of 9:17.31, Gega was declared champion, also setting a new record in the 3000 meter hurdles at the European Team Championship. But not only that, because with this success, Luiza brings to 11 the number of triumphs in various European championships, equaling the Bulgarian Ivet Lalova-Collio. Luiza Gega also remains the only athlete from Albania that for years, her results are always within the qualifying norm for the Olympic Games.
