Coach Maurizio Sarri has undergone heart surgery. Lazio says the Italian coach will be fit and will join the team in the coming days.
Lazio's announcement:
" Lazio announces that coach Mauricio Sarri, after being diagnosed with arterial fibrillation, has undergone a transcatheter ablation procedure with PFA technology at the Tor Vergata Polyclinic.
The intervention, performed by Professor Andrea Natale, a pioneer at an international level and with over 30 years of experience in the treatment of this pathology, was carried out successfully.
Lazio's doctor, Dr. Italo Leo, was also present at the intervention. The coach will resume regular management of the team in the coming days.
"Lacio and the coach thank the Tor Vergata Polyclinic and Professor Natale's team for the high professionalism and quality of healthcare guaranteed to all patients every day," Lacio wrote in its announcement .
