Myrto Uzuni is in excellent form in Spain at Granada, aiming for promotion to the big halls of Iberian football with his goals.
In an exclusive interview for the "Max Sport" show, in Euronews Albania, the forward tells everything, from life in Spain, to the regime he maintains and the national team.
Uzuni revealed that rice and chicken meat is his favorite food, while he emphasized that his ideal role in the national team is to play as a second attacker.
One goal away from history – “ I'm just one goal away from making history at Granada FC. El Arabi has scored 44 goals in 134 games, I have 43 goals in 100 games and I have better statistics. Normally this comes after a very tiring job. I am very dedicated to football, I maintain a constant regime, I always keep myself as fresh as possible" .
Idol in Granada - " I feel very good here, people adore me. When they see me on the street they want autographs, I can't even sit in restaurants because they don't stop. When I have a break, I go out of Granada, because here I have no privacy ."
Spectacular goals - " In this period, I am in a very good form. In the last game, after we scored the second goal, we became complacent, but in the end I scored to give the team the three points. In fact, it was a very special goal, but I have scored a few of those ."
Foreign languages - " I speak Greek very well, as I grew up and went to school there. Serbo-Croatian, Spanish as well as English, which is an international language ".
Lack of goals in the national team - " Playing for the national team is a special feeling. But I believe that the goals will come now, as even coach Silvinjo at this moment sees me as a striker and I feel better when I'm near the goal. My statistics speak clearly, I have scored 43 goals in the last three years and normally I give my best when I play behind the striker, but I give everything the coach tells me ."
Ideal position - " I express myself better on the field, when I play as a second striker, as I look for the spaces, while the central attack is more physically possible and I am more efficient in this module" .
Physical aspect - " I feel very good, both physically and psychologically. I am very dedicated to football, and I give my best. Confidence grows when you score and I hope to continue like this" .
The future - " When he scores a lot of goals, it's normal that there are offers, I'm ambitious. We'll see in the future, but now at Granada I feel very good and I give everything for this club" .
Granada – “ Our objective is to climb to La Liga and we do not discuss this goal. That's why I'm here to help the team to return to the elite ."
What do you miss from Albania - "I miss food, but I have a diet that only eats rice and chicken and I am very happy" .
