Serbian police have escorted former Albanian commentator Dritan Shakoxha 24 hours before the Serbia-Albania "final" to be played in Leskovac.
The journalist had another bad experience in Serbia after what happened 11 years ago in Belgrade.
Shakohoxha traveled to Niš to watch the match with Serbia tomorrow, but was stopped at the airport along with several other journalist colleagues from Albania and held there for approximately 3 hours.
Contacted by "Top Channel", Shakohoxha confirmed that they were held by Serbian police for a very long time at the airport.
" It was another absurd situation. They took my passport and some other colleagues from Albania and didn't give us any explanation. Then I saw my name, Arlind Sadiku's, Marin Mema's and some other journalists from Albania who were there and they had put us on some kind of strange list. They kept asking us 'Why did we go to Belgrade?'. They left. They came back: they asked, they left again. An endless madness. Until finally they allowed us to leave ," said Shakohoxha.
Afterwards, Shako was asked if he would be at the stadium tomorrow and said he would go there if the Serbs did not do "crazy things" against Albanian journalists again.
