PSG celebrated another great European success as they were crowned European champions, but a special episode during the medal ceremony has caught the attention of fans and gone viral on social media.
As UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin was handing out gold medals to the French team's players, he thought Ousmane Dembele was the team captain and the last player to receive the medal before the trophy was lifted.
Ceferin approached the French striker to hand him the trophy, but Dembele immediately corrected him, reminding him that the PSG captain is Brazilian Marquinhos.
After the awkward moment, the UEFA president reacted with humor, laughing and turning to Marquinhos to hand him the medal and then the Champions League trophy.
Footage of this episode has been widely shared on social media, becoming one of the most commented moments of the PSG celebration ceremony.
