Clashes between the "Red and Black Fans" of the National Team and the Albanian Football Federation. Everything comes on the eve of the two matches that Albania plays for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, those against England in London on March 21 and against Andorra on March 24 in Tirana.
The Albanian Football Federation (AFH) has decided to put all reserved tickets on sale online, including those designated for the "12th player", the "Red and Black Fans" who have a designated seat in the stadium.
Mirjan Aliaj, a member of TKZ, also spoke to "Report TV". He said that this situation came about after the group opposed the co-organization of "EURO 2027" between Albania and Serbia.
Aliaj explains that in London's 'Wembley' and in Tirana for Andorra, TKZ will not be organized, as tickets for their sector are on sale and the Albanian Football Federation "has cut them in half".
"Relations between TKZ and AFF - We have supported the National Team for decades and have had a collaboration with AFF for sectors and the stadium. After we opposed the co-organization of "EURO 2027" between Albania and Serbia, in a meeting they told us "look, don't oppose us for this", because you shouldn't do it. This contradicts us and is non-negotiable, this was the breaking point. They no longer give us tickets and have declared a kind of "war" on us.
Tickets to "Wembley" and Andorra? We have had contact with the Albanian Football Association, they told us they would provide them and then the tickets appeared online. They have 'broken our trust' because they did not give us tickets. They did not inform us, our sector was also on sale, here we have received the answer. The members of TKZ will not be organized at "Wembley", because we do not have tickets. At the moment we are not, only those who have secured them individually.
Boycott? I can't say anything, because we don't have a decision. Tickets with Andorra have not been sold and this is the hypocrisy of the FSHF. We support the team in every match, whether with a strong or weak team. The FSHF has economic interests and does not act with ideals like we do.
Why are you against the 2027 European Championship with Serbia? Sport is sport, art is art. Like Mirjan, I cannot separate it from history. Why this rush for the European Championship with Serbia, why didn't we do it with Kosovo? Kosovo has taken over the Mediterranean Games and they are creating an infrastructure. We could do it with Kosovo and another country, why with Serbia?! It is the Albanian Football Association that mixes sports with politics.
The appeal of the TKZ? We tell the AFF to be serious. They must implement what they say, they have no institutional behavior. It is time to withdraw from "EURO 2027" with Serbia, sport must move forward in other ways. Third, the ideal has sent us money. We have 21 years as the TKZ and we will succeed, we have no political or economic goals. We have the ideal of patriots. We are all temporary, Albania remains.
In a group with Serbia, in June in Tirana? The desire is to be first in the group, to get past England. We don't count Serbia out in every aspect. We will 'wait for them as best we can', as they deserve," the member of "Red and Black Fans" told "Report TV".
