Joni El Malem is the Israeli talent who has once again earned an invitation from the Albanian U-19 National Team for the March friendly matches.
The 17-year-old was monitored in 2024, where he also received a surprise invitation. El Malem has an Albanian passport, while his mother was born in Albania.
The talented MS Ashdod defender has previously spoken in Israel, specifically in December, when he received his first invitation. A dream come true for El Malem, who has a promising future.
" A dream come true, I've always been waiting for this news. I've trained and worked endlessly, and it came to me like a dream."
"My mother was born in Albania, I have family there and I had the opportunity to represent them and it's a privilege ," said El Malem after receiving the first invitation.
